hooyagot is a ranking, prediction, and community discussion app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information We Collect
We collect the email address you use to sign in with a passwordless email link. We may also collect the profile information you choose to provide, including your display name, username, bio, favorite teams, and optional profile photo.
When you use hooyagot, we store the rankings, lists, predictions, comments, reactions, reports, notifications, and account-blocking choices connected with your account.
How We Use Information
We use this information to operate and improve hooyagot, authenticate users, save rankings and lists, display public profiles and Timeline posts when you choose to share them, deliver notifications, respond to support requests, and help keep the community safe.
Public Content
Your email address and private lists are not public. Content becomes visible to other users only when you choose to post a locked-in list to the Timeline. Your public profile information, posted lists, comments, and reactions may be visible to other hooyagot users.
Service Providers
hooyagot uses Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and related backend services. We use Expo and EAS to deliver and update the mobile app. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services.
We do not sell personal information.
Community Safety
Users can report content and block other users. We may review reports and take reasonable action to enforce our community standards and help protect users.
Account Deletion
You may permanently delete your account in the app through Profile → Delete Account. Deleting an account removes the account and associated data, except where limited retention is necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or dispute resolution.
Security
We use reasonable measures designed to protect information, but no online service can guarantee complete security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as hooyagot changes. The effective date above shows when it was last updated.
